Guys, as much as you don’t want to be role models, you are. Kids will see all this, think “I can do steroids and be a good ballplayer too”, which just sends the wrong message.
In Columbus, Ohio last night, some whackjob decided to shoot members of the band Damageplan (formed by the brothers Abbot, formerly of Pantera), fatally injuring one of the members, Dimebag Darrell Abbott, and wounding the drummer Vinnie Paul Abbott. He was apparently upset that Pantera broke up.
Thanks asshole, now all of heavy metal has a bad rap we had shaken off over the last 20 or so years.
