I think I just had a near death experience.
I was driving back to work from eating lunch at home. It’s raining outside.
In my peripheral vision, to my left, I hear “bzzzt” and see something blowing up in an electrical fireball.
I swear I could taste it. It was like that feeling you get when you lick a nine-volt battery to test it, only in my whole mouth.
I could feel the heat too.
Yeesh.
Lately, all I’ve been reading is dystopian literature. I’m not sure why. Maybe because it seems that life imitates art? Who knows.
